Polk's America: Brenda Hornsby Heindl
The President James K. Polk Home and Museum and the Maury County Public Library invite you to the Polk’s America Lecture and Podcast series featuring Brenda Hornsby Heindl, independent scholar, consultant, and experimental archaeologist.
In 2020 Brenda served as consultant for the installation of the Polk Home’s new historic kitchen garden. She will be sharing her research into the people and practices involved in kitchen gardening during the 19th century.
