Creating the Kaleidoscope
Join us Thursday April 8th for a colorful history of the kaleidoscope. Learn how the invention of kaleidoscope led to controversy in England, influenced American art, and morphed from a fancy parlor fixture to a cheap child’s toy. Participants will get to create their own kaleidoscope to take home. 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM $15 per child. All ages welcome. Pay upon arrival. Contact thomas@jameskpolk.com for information and registration.
*A special thanks to Kaleidoscope Columbia for donating materials.
