Homeschool Day- Mule Day

Mule Day is a festival in Columbia, TN, but did you know that its history goes back for over 150 years? During the time of James K. Polk, Mule Day was a mule trading event that brought people from all over the country to buy and sell mules. This fun homeschool event will offer a tour of the temporary Mule Day exhibit, plus fun activities related to agriculture and historic trading.

Homeschool Days are designed to be come & go events, with activities ongoing throughout the day. We recommend 1.5-2 hours for you to experience everything. These events are rain or shine, and in the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled.

Our quarterly homeschool events are designed for all ages, with activity stations throughout the property, and guided tours of the home.
