A Nation Redrawn

As we reflect on our nation’s 250th anniversary, the Polk Home invites you to explore our nation’s past. Opening July 3rd, A Nation Redrawn explores the expanding map of the United States, from the Louisiana Purchase, to the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. President Polk oversaw massive expansion of the United States, but that expansion had a cost. 

Entry to the exhibit is included with the purchase of a standard tour ticket, or may be purchased separately for $5.
