Visitors to the President James K. Polk Home and Museum on Saturday, September 14 will enjoy living history demonstrations, participatory crafts, and early 19th-century music on our grounds from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.  Guests will also be able to watch open hearth cooking in the detached kitchen. These special activities will be included with general admission to the site.  For additional information, call the Polk Home at (931) 388-2354.

Location

The James K. Polk Home and Museum is located at 301 W. 7th Street in downtown Columbia, TN.

Free parking is available in the lot across 7th Street or along High Street on the east side of the main house.
