Inspired by a James K. Polk gubernatorial campaign event in 1838, this fundraising dinner for Polk Association members will be held at Antrim in Columbia from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

The President James K. Polk Home annually observes Father's Day by allowing fathers to visit the site at no charge.  From 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, fathers will receive free admission to the main house (built by James K. Polk's father in 1816), the adjacent Sisters' House visitor center and museum, the detached kitchen, and the special exhibition "Crafted by Conscience: Material and Belief in Polk's America" at Polk Presidential Hall.

Location

The James K. Polk Home and Museum is located at 301 W. 7th Street in downtown Columbia, TN.

Free parking is available in the lot across 7th Street or along High Street on the east side of the main house.
