Inspired by a James K. Polk gubernatorial campaign event in 1838, this fundraising dinner for Polk Association members will be held at Antrim in Columbia from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

The President James K. Polk Home and Museum invites artists to create works of visual art inspired by the Home, its collections, or the lives and legacies of James and Sarah Polk for its "Art at the Polk" contest.  We welcome creativity in all media.  Entries must be submitted by 4 p.m. on January 28, 2019.  Beginning on February 1, they will be displayed to the public in Polk Presidential Hall.  The Polk Home will provide cash prizes by age category.  For additional information, contact Candice Candeto at (931) 388-2354.


The James K. Polk Home and Museum is located at 301 W. 7th Street in downtown Columbia, TN.

Free parking is available in the lot across 7th Street or along High Street on the east side of the main house.
