"Polk’s America" Lecture Series
Medical history student Katelynn DiStefano will present the free public program "The Slave Disease: Neonatal Tetanus and the Racial History of Early American Medicine" at 7 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church adjacent to the Polk Sisters' House.

The James K. Polk Memorial Association's biennial ball will be held at the home of Bob Doyle and Alexandra von Hoffmann in Williamsport, TN from 6 p.m. until midnight.
