The Polk Home will present a free public showing of "James K. Polk, The Dark Horse President," an episode of the Emmy-winning television program A TASTE OF HISTORY, at 7 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church adjacent to the Polk Sisters' House.
The James K. Polk Memorial Association's annual membership luncheon and meeting will be held at 12:30 p.m. in the parish hall of St. Peter's Episcopal Church adjacent to the Polk Sisters' House. A garden party on the Polk Home's grounds will precede the luncheon.

Presidents' Day Weekend
When: February 18, 2017 – February 20, 2017 Location: President James K. Polk Home and Museum
The President James K. Polk Home and Museum annually offers half-price admission on Presidents' Day weekend (Saturday- Monday). On Saturday and Monday, the site is open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Sunday hours are 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
The Polk Home also offers half-price or free admission on other special occasions including free admission for mothers on Mother's Day, for fathers on Father's Day, for veterans and active personnel of the U.S. Armed Forces on Veterans Day, and for everyone on the first Sunday in November (to celebrate President Polk's birthday). Free parking is available in the lot across 7th Street or along High Street on the east side of the main house.
